Reckoning es el segundo álbum de estudio de R.E.M., una banda estadounidense, pionera en el rock alternativo, procedente de Athens, en el estado de Georgia.

Reckoning fue lanzado en 1984, por el sello discográfico independiente, I.R.S. Records y tuvo un éxito mayor que su anterior álbum Murmur.

Reedición

El disco se ha reeditado varias veces.

  • En 1992, I.R.S. lo lanzó en CD bajo la línea "The IRS Years Vintage" con cuatro temas extras.
  • En 2009, A&M, aprovechando el 25 aniversario de su publicación, lo presentó en un formato doble remasterizado con un CD extra donde se podía encontrar el concierto que el grupo dio el 7 de julio de 1984 en Chicago.[1]
