R-Type

R-Type es un matamarcianos creado por Irem en 1987 para las máquinas recreativas o Arcade.

Este juego se caracteriza por un láser que se puede cargar para dar golpes más fuertes a los enemigos y a la vez, con unas cápsulas que se cogen con la nave y otorgan un arma definida de acuerdo con el color o la letra que tiene. El poder de la cápsula aumenta conforme se recogen más armas.

  • R-Type para Arcade, MSX, NES/Famicom, spectrum, [[PC-Engine] y [SEGA Master System]].
  • R-Type II para Arcade, Famicom (Solo en Japón).
  • Super R-Type para SNES/Super Famicom.
  • R-Type Leo solo para Arcade.
  • R-Type III: The Third Lightning para SNES/Super Famicom.
  • R-Type Delta para PlayStation.
  • R-Type Final para PlayStation 2.
  • R-Type Tactics para PlayStation Portable.
  • Existió también un recopilatorio de juegos para Game Boy Color llamado R-Type DX, que incluía sus versiones blanco y negro, color y el juego R-Type DX que no es otra cosa que R-Type y R-Type II combinados.
  • Un segundo recopilatorio apareción en PSOne, llamado R-Types, que incluía en un mismo disco R-Type y R-Type II.
  • También hay una versión en Game Boy Advance de R-Type III pero que pierde mucho de la original en Super Nintendo (que sí supo aprovechar el sistema de la SNES al máximo creando buenos efectos).
