Philip Alfred Mickelson es un jugador de Golf estadounidense nacido el 16 de junio de 1970 en San Diego California. Graduado de la Arizona State University como psicólogo en 1992, mismo año en que se convirtió al profesionalismo. Se caracteriza por ser el mejor jugador zurdo en la historia del golf, con un total de 41 victorias profesionales, entre las que se destacan 35 dentro del PGA Tour, entre los cuales se encuentran 3 torneos mayores: 2 Masters de Augusta (2004 y 2006), un PGA Championship (2005). Ha sido múltiples veces intagrante del equipo estadounidense de la Ryder Cup, y de la President Cup.
