Phenomena (Phenomena, 1985), es un film rodado por Dario Argento en 1985, en la que se mezcla terror y giallo. Protagonizada por: Jennifer Connelly (que actualmente reniega de este titulo), Donald Plascene, Daria Nicolodi (mujer de Argento en ese tiempo) y Fiore Argento (hija del propio Argento). Mezcla entre el cine de terror y el giallo, supuso una propuesta de Dario Argento para hacerse conocer en los Estados Unidos (aunque fracaso en su intento). La película al principio fue confundida por la tercera película que cerraría la triologia de Las tres Madres (compuesta por Suspiria e Inferno), a causa de su titulo. En ella se cuenta como una jovencita llamada Jennifer, que pose poderes cinéticos y telequinesis, se dispone a resolver unos misteriosos asesinatos tras su llegada a Zurich y su ingreso en una Academia para señoritas. En su momento la critica no dejo muy bien al film, aunque a los fans de Argento no les desilusiono. Fue el film anterior a Opera (film que para muchos supuso el declive del cine de Argento). En el 2003 se pensó hacer una secuela, aunque definitivamente nunca se rodó a causa del poco dinero que recaudo en taquilla el film de Argento.
