Lorestán o Luristán (en persa: لرستان) es una de las 30 provincias, así como un territorio histórico, de Irán ubicado al sur de los Montes Zagros. Lorestán es el nombre farsi por “tierra de los luros.”

Terreno muy montañoso, con cordilleras con nieves perpetuas. Entre dichas cordilleras, las llanuras son fértiles por las aguas provenientes de las montañas.
