Licker

Los Lickers, traducidos oficialmente al español como Chupadores, son un tipo de enemigos en el videojuego Resident Evil.

Descripción

Son creados por una mutación que sufren los zombis cuando se contaminan por el G-Virus (Virus G en español). Debido a la transformación, tienen características llamativas, como tener el cerebro al descubierto, la ausencia de piel en todo el cuerpo, o el hecho de moverse sobre sus cuatro extremidades. Comparados con los zombis normales, poseen una agilidad increíble. No tienen ojos, por lo que son incapaces de ver, pero tienen un sentido del oído anormalmente desarrollado. En ocasiones, los chupadores son creados al implantar el Virus G sobre un tejido vivo, provocando un resultado inestable y cambiando notablemente el aspecto que tuvieron anteriormente. Cada vez que un chupador come, se vuelve más grande, fuerte y veloz.

Comportamiento

Suelen estar esperando en el suelo o colgados del techo a la espera de algún ruido que delate la presencia de una víctima. En ese momento, pasan a la acción, persiguiéndola y atacándola tanto con sus enormes garras como con su gran lengua. También pueden estar deambulando al acecho de cualquier víctima a la que atacar.

Localización

En Resident Evil 2 son enemigos muy comunes, aparecen en varios puntos de la de la comisaría de policía. En Resident Evil Outbreak aparecen frecuentemente en los escenarios "Below Freezing Point" (en modo muy difícil) y Hellfire. En Resident Evil Outbreak: File 2, Aparecen en el escenario "Desperate Times" en el modo normal para arriba, y varios de ellos en Resident Evil 5, solo que con una forma más avanzada del virus Uroboros.
