Alison Lurie (n. en Chicago el 3 de septiembre de 1926), es una novelista y profesora estadounidense. Es esposa del también escritor Edward Hower.[1]

Carrera

Nació en Chicago, pero pasó su infancia en White Plains, Nueva York. Cursó sus estudios en el Radcliffe College de Massachusetts, donde se graduó en 1947. Desde 1968 se desempeña como profesora de literatura y folklore en la Universidad de Cornell.[2] [1]

Obra

Algunas de sus novelas se ambientan en las universidades y su particular "mundo". Sus obras no están faltas de una mirada humorística sobre distintos temas.
