Jane Kaczmarek es una actriz estadounidense, nacida el 21 de diciembre de 1955 en Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Es conocida por su papel de Lois en la serie Malcolm el de en medio.

Kaczmarek se tituló de Alumna en teatro en la Universidad de Wisconsin, donde conocería al futuro actor Tony Shalhoub. Se metió a la Universidad de Yale con Shalhoub y formó parte de una compañía de teatro. Ha tenido muchos éxitos en Broadway como Lost In Yonkers y ocasionalmente es invitada a Los Simpson para interpretar la voz de la jueza Constance Harm una de las protagonistas de tan famosa caricatura

Estuvo casada con el actor Bradley Whitford, con quien tuvo 3 hijos.
