Izeda es una freguesia portuguesa del concelho de Bragança, con 33,77 km² de área y 915 habitantes (2001). Densidad: 27,1 hab/km².

Localización

Izeda está ubicada a 30 km al sur del conclho y se encuentra en la margen derecha del río Sabor.

Historia

Fue villa y sede del concelho de breve existencia (Nossa Senhora da Assunção de Izeda), nacido en el año 1836 y suprimido en 1855. Tenía de acuerdo con el censo de 1849: 5 656 habitantes y 447 km². Estaba constituído por 14 freguesias: Calvelhe, Coelhoso, Izeda, Salsas (Braganza), Serapicos, Bagueixe y Macedo do Mato, Lagoa, Morais, Podence y Edroso, Salselas, Talhas, Talhinhas, Vinhas y Edrosa y Meilhe.
