Isaak Ilich Levitán (Исаа́к Ильи́ч Левита́н) (Kibartai, 1861 - Moscú, 1900) fue un pintor ruso. Influido por el pintor Corot y por la estética de la Escuela de Barbizon, expresó en sus paisajes la belleza de la región del Volga. Su color y su estilo inspirarán posteriormente a pintores como Dalí o Antoni Tàpies.

Legado

El planeta menor 3566 Levitan, descubierto por la astrónoma Sovética Lyudmila Zhuravlyova en 1979 fue nombrado en su honor.[1]
