Sir Héctor de Maris es un caballero de la Mesa Redonda, personaje de las historias sobre el rey Arturo. Es hermanastro de Lanzarote del Lago, e hijo natural del rey Ban y la Dama de Maris. Sus primos son Bors y Lionel.

Héctor participa en la búsqueda del Santo Grial, siendo uno de los muchos caballeros que no alcanzan su objetivo. Cuando el romance adúltero de Lanzarote y la reina Ginebra es descubierto en Camelot, se desencadena la guerra entre aquel y el rey Arturo. Sir Héctor de Maris toma el lado de su hermanastro, siendo uno de sus principales generales. Junto con el resto de su familia, emigra al exilio a Francia, a donde los persigue el rey Arturo. Sir Héctor de Maris ayuda a derrotar a las fuerzas de Mordred, tras la batalla de Camlann.
