Hattie Carnegie

Hattie Carnegie (1889 - 1956) era una diseñadora de ropa y de joyería de los Estados Unidos durante los años 30, los años 40, los años 50 y los años 60. Ella nació en Viena, Imperio austrohúngaro. Su nombre de naciomiento era Henriette Kanengeiser.


Hattie la segunda más mayor de siete hermanos. Su padre era un artista y sastre y fue él quien la introdujo en el mundo de la moda. Carnegie era conocida por sus diseños de vestido sumamente elegantes y la joyería de traje exquisita.

Sus diseños tuvieron un éxito masivo y pronto ella tubo clientes tan importantes como Juana Crawford y la Duquesa de Windsor. La ropa vistosa de Hattie Carnegie y su joyería de calidad, aún hoy, son muy buscadas por colectores de todas las partes del mundo.
