En total, cinco buques y dos establecimientos en tierra de la Royal Navy han recibido el nombre HMS Temeraire:

  • navío de línea de 74 cañones capturado a Francia en 1759 y vendido en 1784.
  • 1798. Fue usado como buque prisión desde 1813, y como buque cuartel desde 1820. Fue vendido para desguace en 1838.
  • 1904, Akbar en 1915, y vendido en 1921.
  • HMS Temeraire (1907) fue un acorazado de clase Bellerophon botado en 1907 y vendido en 1921.
  • HMS Temeraire debería haber sido un acorazado de la clase Lion. Su quilla, fue puesta en grada en 1939, pero su construcción, fue suspendida un año después, y en 1944, fue cancelado.
  • HMS Temeraire fue un establecimiento de entrenamiento de guardiamarinas en Port Edgar, South Queensferry, Escocia entre 1955 y 1960.
  • HMS Temeraire es la “Dirección Naval de Entrenamiento Fisico y Deportes (DNPTS) en Portsmouth. Inaugurada en 1910 y nombrada HMS Temeraire desde 1971.
