Gold Star Music fue una compañía discográfica fundada por Hector "El Father". Gold Star Music también es conocida como Gold Star La Familia. En agosto de 2008, Hector "El Father" considerado el Padre del Reggaetón (de ahí su nombre musical) anuncio su retiro como cantante de este genero por que iba dedicar su vida a la religión.

Ahora en el 2009 La compañía ha regresado más fuerte que nunca con nuevos exponentes del genero pero Héctor declaro que no cantara reggaeton la disquera regreso para distribuir su nuevos disco de música cristiana, pero también discos reggaeton.A principios del 2010 sorprendio a los fanaticos cuando tiro el primer sencillo como regreso al reggeaton. Titulado Ven Donde Mi del mixtape Golpe De Estado.En 2011 se escucha que grabara en reggaeton pero sin violencia.
