George Maxwell Richards (nacido en 1931, en San Fernando, Trinidad y Tobago) es el cuarto presidente de Trinidad y Tobago.

Richards es ingeniero químico. Trabajó en la Universidad de Indias del Oeste en Trinidad (University of the West Indies, en inglés) en 1996. El 17 de marzo de 2003 fue elegido presidente de Trinidad y Tobago, por un mandato de cinco años. Richards es el primer jefe de estado en el Caribe anglófono que es ascendiente de amerindios.

Richards está casado con la dra. Jean Ramjohn, prima del ex presidente Noor Hassanali. Tienen dos hijos: un hijo, que es médico, y una hija, Maxine, que es empresaria.
