Gary Low es el nombre artístico de un cantante muy famoso en los años 80s llamado Luis Romano Peris Belmonte. Sus dos grandes éxitos, You Are A Danger y Colegiala se escuchan aún en nuestros días. Nació en Roma,[1] en 1954 a pesar de que erróneamente se haya publicado que nació en Terrasa, aunque pasó épocas en Sarrià donde sus padres tenían una casa y logró intruducirse a la música de aspecto italiano que gobernaba la época con un tema llamado "'You're A Danger" que alcanzó rápidamente el éxito en el año 1982 bajo la batuta de Pier Luigi Giombini y Paul Micioni y le siguió en el año siguiente, 1983, otro gran éxito y también himno indiscutible veraniego en las discotecas "I Want You" , producido por Paul & Peter Micioni, y fue junto a otros artistas italianos el creador de la "Spaghetti Dance",; un año más tarde se volvería más famoso con su versión del tema popular La Colegiala del cantautor peruano Walter León y Los Ilusionistas convirtiéndola como ya hiciera con sus otros dos grandes éxitos en otro clásico del verano de 1984.
