Francisco Scaramanga, también conocido como El hombre de la pistola de oro (del revolver de oro en México y Latinoamérica) es uno de los villanos que tanto en el cine como en la novela, se presenta como el enemigo a vencer de el agente 007, James Bond.

El exagente de la KGB, de origen cubano, es un asesino de categoría mundial, el cual mata con una peculiar pistola de oro hecha con objetos aparentemente inofensivos: un encendedor, un bolígrafo, una cigarrera y unos gemelos.La letal arma dispara una bala hecha también de oro de 24 kilates.
