Ethel Skakel Kennedy (n. 11 de abril, 1928 en Chicago, Illinois) es miembro de la famosa Familia Kennedy al contraer matrimonio con Robert F. Kennedy. Sus padres fueron Ann Brannack, católica, y George Skakel, quien era protestante. Fue criada en la religión católica en el pueblo de Greenwich, Connecticut. Su padre fue el fundador de la exitosa corporación "Great Lakes Carbon Corporation",[1] la cual está asociada con la industria del acero. Robert y Ethal se comprometieron en 1950, y se casaron en Junio,17 de 1950
