Olodumare es el Dios supremo de la religión yoruba.

Atributos

Olodumare es el Dios único, omnipotente y creador del todo, del Yorùbá Olòdúmàré (Señor al que va nuestro eterno destino), es la manifestación material y espiritual de todo lo existente. Por su mandato Olofin, su hijo, vino a crear el planeta Tierra y todo lo que él contiene; se valió igualmente de sus poderes para crear los Administradores o Jerarcas de la naturaleza, conocidos como los Orishas.

Manifestaciones

El Dios único no está en contacto directo con los hombres, sino a través de su otra forma, Olorún (directamente) u Olofin (indirectamente). También se le denomina Eledá, Alaayé, Elemií y Olojo Oni.

Ofrendas y bailes

Los orishas tienen altares, bailes y ofrendas dependiendo de la deidad que se esté hablando (Elegua, Chango, Oshún, Obatalá, Oya, Iemanya, Oggun, Orunmila...etc); para representar al Dios Olodumare no tiene altar, emblemas ni señales para representarlo.
