Crookshanks es una mascota de la serie de Harry Potter.

Es la mascota de Hermione Granger. Es mitad gato mitad Kneazle. Ser un cruce de este tipo lo convierte en un gato muy astuto, capaz de reconocer brujos transformados en animales (animagos) y también es posible que detecte con mucha antelación si hay dementores cerca. Aparece por primera vez en el tercer libro. Es adquirido por Hermione Granger en una tienda de animales mágicos del Callejón Diagón y lo lleva consigo a Hogwarts. Su aspecto es el de un gato persa rojo, de cara aplastada, patas combas y una extraña cola en forma de cepillo redondo. Reconoce al animago Peter Pettigrew bajo su aspecto de rata (Scabbers) e intenta cazarlo varias veces para llevárselo a Sirius Black con el que ha trabado amistad.
