Claudius Lysias

Claudius Lysias fue un comandante romano mencionado en el Nuevo Testamento, en el libro Hechos de los Apóstoles, desde 21:31 a 24:22. Fue Tribuno romano y el comandante (quiliarca) de la guarnición romana en Jerusalén.

Rescató al Apóstol Pablo de una turba en Jerusalén, pero ordenó que se lo interrogara a bajo el látigo. Pablo se salvó de esta tortura cuando demostró que conocía el idioma griego. Lysias envio a Pablo al gobernador Felix.
