Carlton House era una mansión londinense que sirvió de hogar para el príncipe regente durante unas décadas. Se encontraba entre el Pall Mall y el Mall, en el distrito St. James de la capital británica, al oeste de Trafalgar Square.

La casa se construyó a principios del siglo XVIII para Henry Boyle, barón de Carlton, pasando a dominio real cuando la adquirió Federico, príncipe de Gales en 1732. Su nieto amplió la casa con la ayuda del arquitecto Henry Holland entre los años 1782 y 1796. La localización de la casa fue una de las razones para la creación de la ruta ceremonial que hizo John Nash.

Carlton House era espaciosa y opulenta. En muchos países recibiría la denominación de palacio, pero cuando el príncipe regente se convirtió en Jorge IV en 1820, dijo que su residencia oficial, Palacio de St. James y la de su padre Jorge III, Buckingham House eran inadecuadas para sus necesidades. Se pensó en ampliar Carlton House, pero al final se decidió convertir Buckingham House en el Palacio de Buckingham. Carlton House se demolió finalmente en 1825.
