Biografía

Tuvo una infancia muy traumática. Su padre les abandonó cuando era tan sólo una niña y su madre era alcohólica.

En 1940 se mudó a Nueva York en busca de un futuro como actriz.

Su papel más conocido fue La Reina del Oeste (Annie get your gun; 1950)

Falleció el 11 de marzo de 2007 en Palm Springs (California) a los 86 años de edad.
