The Veliger es una revista de malacología arbitrada, fundada en 1958 y publicada actualmente por la California Malacozoological Society Berkeley, California – Estados Unidos. Incluye en sus páginas artículos de biología, ecología, sistemática de los moluscos así como cualquier tema relacionado con los moluscos por lo común de la región de océano Pacífico[3] [4]

La revista desde sus fundación en abril de 1958 hasta julio de 1964 fue editada por Northern California Malacozoological Club (California – Estados Unidos) a partir de esta fecha hasta la actualidad pasa a ser editada por California Malacozoological Society también localizade engel estado de California – Estados Unidos[5]
