Debutó profesional en un partido de la Universidad de Chile frente a Unión La Calera siendo dirigido por Jorge Sampaoli, en un partido válido por la Primera División de Chile, ingresando en el 89' por Charles Aránguiz.[1] Aunque su debut como titular fue en la Copa Chile 2011 frente a Union Española donde la "U" gana por 2-1.[2]
