Nicolae Constantin Paulescu ( 8 de noviembre de 1869, Bucarest - 19 de julio de 1931, ibíd. ), hombre de ciencia rumano, médico y fisiólogo, profesor en La Facultad de Medicina de Bucarest, habiendo descubierto la hormona antidiabética liberada del páncreas, llamada mas tarde la insulina.
