Mary Agnes Meara Chase ( 1869 - 1963 ) fue una botánica, ilustradora, y agrónoma estadounidense, especializada en agrostología.

A los dos años, fallece su padre, y su familia se traslada a Chicago. Desde 1903, comenzó a trabajar en el USDA en Washington.

Fue activista por el sufragio femenino y socialista, estando detenida, y procesada, en 1915 y en 1918.
