Macon es una ciudad localizada en el centro del estado de Georgia, Estados Unidos. Es parte del área metropolitana homónima junto al condado de Bibb. Una pequeña porción de la ciudad se extiende hacia el condado de Jones. Se encuentra ubicado en el centro geográfico de Georgia, aproximadamente a 130km al sur de Atlanta, por lo cual también la denominan como el Corazón de Georgia. En el 2009, Macon tenían una población estimada de 92,582 habitantes.^[1] En cuanto a población, Macon es la sexta ciudad más grande de Georgia (justo después de Atlanta).
