Jeffree Star (nacido Jeffrey Lynn Steininger el 15 de Noviembre de 1986) es un modelo, diseñador, maquillador, DJ, y cantautor estadounidense residente en el área de Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos.^[1] Es una personalidad de internet conocido por su MySpace, por sus diseños de moda, y su apariencia como un transgressive, genderfuck cross-dresser. Se autodenomina "Queen of the Internet" (Reina del Internet) y "Queen of the Beautifuls" (Reina de los hermosos).^{[2] [3] [4] [5] [6]}

Biografía

Star nació en Orange County, California. Jeffree ha dicho que descubrió su homosexualidad desde temprana edad. Su padre falleció cuando él era aún niño, dejándolo con su madre a la cual utilizaba como modelo. Empezó experimentando con el maquillaje de su madre desde pequeño. Jeffree convenció a su madre para que lo dejara utilizar maquillaje en la escuela cuando estaba en secundaria.

Su carrera como maquillador empezó cuando el tenía 15 años como un "underage gender-bending club kid", poniéndose maquillaje y tiñendo su pelo de diferentes colores, lo cual provocaba que llamara la atención dentro y fuera de la escuela.

En fines de semana, Jeffree entrababa los clubes nocturnos de Hollywood con una identificacion falsa, vistiendo mini vestidos y zapatos de 9 pulgadas de alto, donde celebridades lo contrataban para que les hicieran trabajos de maquillaje.

Maquillaje, Modelaje, Fama en Internet

Jeffree trabajo para celebridades como: Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton.

Gano fama en Internet subiendo fotografías de el en foros de Internet y después en myspace.

En Agosto de 2006, estuvo en la portada de Los Angeles' LGBT magazine Frontiers En Noviembre de 2006 Jeffree y otros concursantes de "America's Next Top Model" fueron parte de Black Chandelier's "Fall 2006 Runway Show" en Salt Lake City.
