Glory conocida como Tiempos de gloria o Gloria es una película de 1989, dirigida por Edward Zwick y protagonizada por Matthew Broderick.

Ambientada durante la Guerra civil estadounidense, está basada en la historia verídica del Regimiento nº 54 de Massachusetts formado por hombres voluntarios y de raza negra. Hacia el final de la guerra 186 107 hombres afroamericanos se enrolaron en el ejército de la Unión, durante el conflicto militar murieron 37 300. Para el rodaje de la película participaron más de 2 000 extras y un considerable número de primeros actores.

Argumento

El regimiento 54 de Massachusetts no cuenta con la aprobación de la sociedad norteamericana ni con el apoyo del alto mando del ejército. A eso se le añaden los problemas entre la oficialidad blanca y la tropa de raza negra. Tras superar todas las trabas, por fin conseguirán entrar en combate, aunque siempre en las peores condiciones.
