Velenjak (en persa: ﻭﻟﻨﺠﻚ) es un barrio de Teherán, en Irán.

Situado en el distrito de Shemiran, en el extremo noroeste de Teherán, en las laderas de los Montes Elburz, Valenjak es conocido por sus hermoso paisajes, clima suave, aire fresco de montaña, manantiales y vida silvestre.

Velenjak se encuentra adyacente al Complejo Tochal, una estación de esquí equipada con telecabina hasta el monte Tochal, muy popular como zona de esparcimiento.

En Velenjak están situadas muchas embajadas, incluyendo las de Brunéi, Costa de Marfil, Serbia y Montenegro, Argelia, y de numerosas residencias de embajadores. La Universidad Shahid Beheshti y la Universidad Shahid Beheshti de Medicina se encuentra también en esta área.

Por lo general, el precio de las propiedades en esta zona y el costo de la vida son superiores a los de la mayoría de los suburbios de Teherán, aunque esto varía en función de muchos factores regionales.
