The Roxy Theatre (a veces llamada simplemente The Roxy) es un famoso local nocturno en Sunset Strip, West Hollywood, California.

Fue fundado a comienzos de los años 1970 por Elmer Valentine y Mario Magliero, quien más tarde lo adquirirá con Lou Adler, en un edifico anteriormente ocupado por un club de striptease de Jerry Lewis. Adler era responsable por traer al escenario Rock Horror Show a los Estados Unidos, y abrió su primera gira americana en el Roxy Theatre en 1974, antes de que se hiciera la película Rocky Horror Picture Show el año siguiente.

Cientos de famosos y aún por ser famosos actuaron aquí como Tori Amos, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, Al Stesar, Jane's Addiction y David Bowie.

El pequeño bar On the Rox sobre el club ha sido nido de varias modas en su historia; era un lugar de ocio regular para John Lennon, Hary Nilsson, Alice Cooper y Keith Moon durante la "fin de semana perdido" de John Lennon, en 1975, y en los '80 hospedaba fiestas.

Frank Zappa y The Mother of Invention grabaron la mayoría de su celebrado álbum Roxy and Elsewhere durante su estancia en diciembre de 1973 en el Roxy.
