La Mujer del Granjero, película de la etapa inglesa de Alfred Hitchcock.Es una comedia costumbrista basada en una historia original del escritor y crítico inglés Eden Phillpots. Relata la historia de un granjero viudo que busca esposa desesperadamente entre todas las posibles candidatas de su comarca, dándose cuenta, finalmente, que su ama de casa es la mujer ideal y que además lo desea con mucho interés. Se trata de una comedia ambientada en la Inglaterra rural donde se refleja la vida cotidiana con situaciones cómicas realmente pintorescas así como un tratamiento de la fotografía muy interesante.
