Solomon Mikhoels (16 de marzo de 1890 - 12 o 13 de enero de 1948) fue un actor y director de teatro yiddish en la Unión Soviética.

De ascendencia judía, nació en Daugavpils (Letonia) y fue secretario del Cómite Judío Anti-Fascista, cuyo fin era demostrar la ausencia de anti-semitismo en la Unión Soviética durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

Al finalizar la guerra, Stalin receleaba de los fuertes lazos entre los judíos soviéticos y los de los países occidentales. Por este motivó el teatro Yiddish de Mikhoels fue cerrado, y varios miembros del clausurado Cómite fueron arrestados. Siendo Mikhoels una prominente figura intelectual en el mundo judía era de esperarse que no se tomaran acciones públicas contra él. Sin embargo, murió en un sospechoso accidente de tránsito en Minsk entre el 12 o 13 de enero de 1948, mientras se estaba desatando la persecución de sus compatriotas.
