Around the Fur es el segundo álbum de estudio de la banda californiana Deftones. Fue lanzado el 28 de octubre de 1997, conjuntamente, por Maverick Records y Warner Bros. Records.

Con este disco, Deftones logra catapultarse a lo más alto en Estados Unidos consiguiendo un buen número de copias vendidas, lo que le valió el puesto número 29 del Billboard de 1997, lista de éxitos siempre difícil para bandas alternativas. Gran parte de ese éxito la tiene los singles promocionales del álbum "My Own Summer (Shove It)", uno de los temas más famosos de la banda, y "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)". Precisamente la canción "My Own Summer (Shove It)" forma parte de la banda sonora original de la película The Matrix.

Around the Fur cuenta, también, con colaboraciones extra: Max Cavalera, líder de Sepultura, pone voz junto a Chino Moreno en "Headup". Annalynn Cunningham, esposa del batería Abe Cunningham, pone los coros a Chino Moreno en "MX".
