Robert P. George es Profesor McCormick de Jurisprudencia (McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence) en la Universidad de Princeton, donde realiza cátedras de interpretación constitucional, garantías constitucionales y filosofía del derecho. Trabaja como el director del Programa James Madison sobre Ideas e Instituciones Estadounidenses (James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions).

Biografía

Estudió en el Swarthmore College (BA), Harvard Law School (JD), Harvard Divinity School (MTS), y New College, Oxford (DPhil). En Oxford estudió bajo la guía de John Finnis y Joseph Raz. Trabajó en la Comisión de Derecho Civiles de EE.UU. y como un académico de la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos. Actualmente se desempeña en el Consejo de Bioética del Presidente de EE.UU. Es miembro del Consejo de Relaciones Exteriores. Trabaja en el consejo editorial de las revistas Touchstone y First Things, así como también en otros medios escritos.

George es uno de los influyentes proponedores de la "Nueva Teoría de Derecho Natural"
